Information from the Ohio Department of Health regarding the School Environmental Health and Safety Program
All schools in Clermont County are inspected on a semi-annual basis to help ensure a safe, healthy, and productive environment for all students and staff. The buildings, room environments, kitchen facilities, laboratories, industrial arts rooms, school grounds, athletic facilities, and playgrounds are checked for health and safety hazards. Procedures such as emergency drills, medications dispensing, maintenance of air filtration systems, hazardous materials storage, and pest control are evaluated.
Any questions or concerns regarding the school inspections program can be directed to the Clermont County Public Health’s Environmental Health Division at (513)732-7499.
