COVID-19 Quarantine Guidelines

Following the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and the Ohio Department of Health, Clermont County Public Health adopted new quarantine guidelines for COVID-19 on Friday, December 4. The best and safest option for quarantine is to stay at home for at least 14 days after your last exposure to someone who tested positive for COVID-19. If employers or schools can meet certain criteria, then Clermont County Public Health will accept a shortened quarantine period of either 7 or 10 days, depending on the criteria met. A test-based strategy (a negative test result on day five or later after last exposure) and remain home for at least seven days after your last exposure.
